I find it funny that Sprouse voted against the pay raise but wants the mother of his special needs son to go on welfare because he cannot afford alimony and the medical expenses. What a hypocrite. He wants to look good for the voters, but wants his wife to live off the government so he doesn't have to help out.

If the legislators worked something close to "full-time" DURING THE SESSION, we might be more inclined to believe they work "full-time" the rest of the year.

During the 60+ days they are in session, I'd bet dollars to donuts no more than a handful "work" even 300 hours (unless sucking down free food and drink and slobbering over cheap women count as "work").

If more than a handful spend more than an average of 10 hours a week on legislative duties other than campaigning and fund-raising the other 43 weeks of the year, I'd be amazed, but let's be generously naive and say the typical legislator actually spends 800 hours a year on legitimate legislative work apart from self-promotion and hitting up people for money.

Considering their expenses are reimbursed, they get retirement and insurance benefits usually only accorded real full-time workers in the private sector and they have no overhead how much an hour would you say average legislator deserves in pure personal profit?

What do you expect from an interloping foreigner like Stewart, who can only be relevant as long as his boy Sprouse (he of the multiple marital affairs as head of the family values party) is around. If Palumbo runs against him next time, he might lose.
